IMPLEMENTATION OF USING HANDHELD TECHNIQUE TO REPRESENT THE EMOTIONAL ATMOSPHERE IN THE FILM ‘TUNDUK’

Abstract

Cinematography is an important pillar in making a film. The Director of Photography is responsible for the needs of cinematography, the camera department, and also the lighting department. This role is very important in realizing the story that is made into a film through shots. The film 'TUNDUK' is a short film that tells the story of a bad husband and wife life, seen from the husband who commits violence against his wife. Then, poverty is also a major factor for the events experienced by the main characters, namely Satria and Batari to get instant wealth. The concept and handheld technique used in this film aims to provide an emotional atmosphere to each character.
