dc.description.abstract As the globalization affects millennials generation especially in the use of social media, people are trying to get the advantages to reach for fame, one of them is being celebrity. Within the celebrity commodity term, this article analyses the advantages of Awkarin and Young Lex as social media celebrities as shown in “Bad’ Video clip posted on Youtube. The method is three-dimensional process by Fairclough. To analyse the data, this journal utilizes social semiotics metafunction by Kress and Leeuwen (analysing images) and critical discourse analysis by Machin and Mayr (analysing text). The result shows that these youths intend to mock people who labelled them as bad and naughty, while it is true that they behave badly and have a great influence towards youth in Indonesia. en_US
