ANALYSIS OF FACTORS CAUSING NONPERFORMING LOANS IN CHINA'S COMMERCIAL BANKS IN SHAANXI PROVINCE

Abstract

This research mainly tries to identify the cause of non preforming loans of commercial banks in Shaanxi Province. A quantitative research was carried out on a sample of 92 respondents and their responses were analysis using SPSS. Researcher also doing the pre test to 15 respondents before conducting the actual survey. SPSS 22.0 test was applied to find out the significant difference between the Hypothesis groups based on independent variables with non performing loans of commercial bank in Shaanxi Province. The results of the survey analysis revealed that the factors non preforming loans of commercial banks in Shaanxi Province are the factors which excessive government intervention, the bank own system problem and loan customer problem. This study is aimed at understanding the factors causing non preforming loans of commercial banks in Shaanxi Province in China.
