Abstract:
This research aims to investigate the correlation between employee engagement level and turnover intention in Lazada Indonesia HQ, is an e-commerce company based in German as well as Zalora, FoodPanda, and Lamido Indonesia located in South Jakarta. Before conducting the research, the researcher did a small investigation on a company. Based on the result of investigation, the writer found that the employees of the company were experiencing employee engagement and employee turnover problem.
This research covers three factors that may affect employee engagement level, which are work environments, reward, and development. It also includes what factors that may affect turnover intention. The correlation analysis between employees’ engagement and employee turnover intention they feel in the generalized way. This research excluded a specific discussion on how each factor of employee engagement level to employee turnover.
Quantitative approach is used in this research, with questionnaires is used as primary data collection tool. The researcher preferred collecting data using samples because the population size is not quite big. The sample limit of the research is only for the staffs of Lazada Indonesia HQ.
As the result of this research, the researcher finds that employee engagement in workplace correlate simultaneously to turnover intention. Further, it is true if the turnover intention can be affected by work environment, reward, and development as the key factors of employee engagement
