Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to identify the factors that influence people decide to work abroad. This research was designed using Quantitative Analysis Method. In this study, data were collected through questionnaires to 110 Chinese employees who work at PT. GEO CENTRAL MINING, INDONESIA, and use simple random sampling method to determine the response of respondents of each variable. Then analyze the data obtained in the form of the quantitative analysis. Quantitative analyses include validity and reliability test, weighted mean, factor analysis and so on.
In this research used factor analysis to do research. Result of the analysis found that the four factors: achievement, new experience, salary and welfare. All of these factors have a positive significantly influence people decide to work abroad. Only the influence degree is different. Based on the research, the researcher found that factor salary has influenced people decide to work deeply. For improvement in future research, it is suggested to make long research period to obtain more result that is comprehensive. The future research also can use other factors that influence people work abroad.
