Abstract:
The problem of this research was because of many ERP: SAP software implementation failures have been caused by the lack of focus on the “soft issues” such as business process and change management. Employees fear and resisted change for a variety of reasons; fear of redundancy, fear of extra work and others. This research was used Quantitative Research Method. The data was structured in the form of numbers. The purpose of this research was to analyze external (Globalization (X1), Technology (X2), Industry consolidation (X3)) and internal factors (Self-Interest (X4), Personal feeling (X5)) of change management (Y) for using SAP software. All of independent variables had significance simultaneously towards change management. There were only two independent variables which partially had significance or positive contribution toward change management for using SAP software among employees at PT. XY, Tbk; self-interest (X4) and personal feelings (X5). Within the change management for using SAP they have been more careful in working since if they were careless it gave the impact to a lot of their colleagues who were related to their job (X4.1), they did not matter about changing because they were willing to improve processes and ways of working (X4.3), because of the changes created the new goals and culture, the employees wiling to follow it therefore the employees were created the team culture for the improvement continuously (X4.7), and they were motivate their team to be engaged and adapt with the changes of their ways of working (X4.8). The employees did not resist changing according to chart 4.8 because they did not afraid of the over-time work (X5.1) and did not feel pressured using SAP to get their job done (X5.2).
