Customer engagement is one of the most important points in the hospitality industry. To make customers engage with the hotel is not as easy as the spelling of the word engage itself. For almost 6 years China National Technical Import & Export Corporation Ltd. has a contract with Hotel Santika Premier Jakarta and China National Technical Import & Export Corporation Ltd. has extended their contract with Hotel Santika every year.
It’s a strange phenomenon when we know Hotel Santika Premier Jakarta is a hotel with Traditional Indonesian Themes. Based on human habits, people like to stay at a place that they are familiar with. But in this case, Chinese people who are the employees’ of China National Technical Import & Export Corporation Ltd. do not stay at Hotel Santika Premier Jakarta one time, they repeat staying there.
This qualitative research is an analysis of the phenomenon of the employees’ habit. What are the reasons behind this phenomenon? Researcher has the data collection during internship at China National Technical Import & Export Corporation Ltd. as Senior Secretary of Director and General Manager Human Resources & Affair, researcher get many confidential data. Base on the data researcher arranged this research and interviewed participant to get the finding of the researcher.
Finding of the research is amazing that one of the reason why the Employees’ of China National Technical Import & Export Corporation Ltd engage with Hotel Santika Premier Jakarta which is hotel with Indonesia Theme is because effect of Cultural Diversity.
