Abstract:
Employee satisfaction is an important thing that must be fulfilled by the
company, because if the employee job satisfaction has been met, the performance
and productivity of a company will increase. There are some symptoms have been
identified that show that job satisfaction of employees in PT XYZ less well, the
researchers conducted an analysis of employee satisfaction, by finding out the
correlation between the internal and external factors to the PT XYZ employee job
satisfaction. This research is a quantitative study that uses Rank Spearman and
Chi Square to find the relationship of internal factor (Gender, Age, Level of
education, year of service and burden of family) and external factors
(Physiological, Safety, Social, Self-esteem, Self-actualization) to the PT XYZ
employee job satisfaction. Researchers took sample of 80 respondents with total
population of 97 employees. Found that all the internal factors was tested with
Chi Square and external factors was tested with Rank Spearman have a
relationship, only one element of the external factors that indicate that the
employee is still not satisfied.
