Abstract:
Home or residence is a basic human need that must be met after food and clothing needs. Along with the highly growing population of Indonesia, the need for homes is increasing. Property becomes so important and therefore the price is always increasing annually, bank shows up as helping institution and gives solution to people who do not have enough funds to buy house, they provide mortgage. Unfortunately, along with the increasing loan taken by people in Indonesia especially Cikarang, the loan or people who are late to pay their loan and even failed has also increased. The purpose of this research is to analyse the consumer loan at Cikarang. There are 5 variables namely Character, Capacity, Capital, Collateral and Condition. This research was conducted to 91 respondents who buy the house by means of loan. The result indicated that character, capacity, capital, collateral and condition simultaneously give significant impact to loan for property in Cikarang. Character, capital and condition also partially and positively affect loan for property in Cikarang, however partial effect was not found from variable capacity and collateral. In this research, loan is explained 74.5% by character, capacity, capital, collateral and condition while 25.5% is explained by other variables out of the model.
