Abstract:
Indonesia is a country with high population rate and a high economic growth. There are possibility of generating or creating more workspace to help with the economic growth. With the increase in population each year, there are possibility of being an entrepreneur for generating income and creating jobs, however most entrepreneur in Indonesia are mainly conducted by men, due to several factors. Women on the other hand are known for its responsibility of being a housewife or a mother to their children. It is a big difference between men entrepreneurs and women entrepreneurs in Indonesia or even worldwide. In this research, the researcher analyze the problems that Indonesian women entrepreneurs faced in trying to start up a business by collecting data’s from questionnaire or even previous research on the problems faced by Indonesian women entrepreneurs. In this research, the researchers compile statistical data from verified sources to be able to conduct the research on the problems faced by Indonesian women entrepreneurs. This research is a quantitative research. With this research, the researcher found a solution from the problems such as lack of motivation, lack of leadership skill, lack of competencies to Gender Discrimination from the respondents. The solution from the problems are self-motivation, education, training, and the understanding of entrepreneur.
