dc.description.abstract Anak Agung Istri Satyaningrat, 016201300010, “The Implementation of the United States’ Democracy Promotion in Iraq During President Bush Administration (2003-2008)” Advisors: Prof. Anak Agung Banyu Perwita, Ph.D Democracy is an integral part of the US foreign policy since the rise of US as global power. The 9/11 attack become the milestone of the US foreign policy in democracy promotion under President Bush administration. Followed by the Iraq invasion 2003 as the respond of 9/11 attack to overthrow Saddam Hussein regime and establishing democratic government to eliminate terrorism and growing global threat. This thesis is an examination on the implementation of US democracy promotion in Iraq under President Bush administration. The research was done in the period of September 2016 -January 2017, employing qualitative method to construct narrative and analysis from various news sources, journal, and books. As the existence of modern technology it is allow the writer to done most of the research at library. en_US
