dc.description.abstract Initially Lawangwangi was an Art and Science Estate. The estate was meant to be a gift to Art and Science Society in general. Aiming at sustainability, in recent development, Lawangwangi is re-branded as Lawangwangi Creative Space and became a Flagship for PT. Lawangwangi. The company was inaugurated on 3 November 2012. PT. Lawangwangi initially aims at building special properties that combine elements of nature, art and design, and well as culture. PT. Lawangwangi aims to become a leader in development of destinations where elements of Beautiful Nature, Art & Design as well as Local Heritage can be seen, felt, and experienced. To implement the company vision, PT Lawangwangi develops the destinations for 3 main pillars: Properties, Food & Culinary and Art & Design. ROTA is a Knowledge Space. The Space is functioned as an education area outside campus. ROTA is not merely a place to live or study; it is a cycle to provide a breadth of needs - students, startups, and investors – an environment that pushes their advancements and innovative minds to infinite possibilities. ROTA Complex comprises over 2 ha land and consists of 5 dormitory towers, an information center, a multifunctional hall, an open amphitheater for art and cultural performance, a university hotel and commerce areas. The complex has facility like health center and musholla. The four pillars that constructed the philosophy behind ROTA are: Ecology: developing an area based on green environment concept. Education: preceding the master plan development, Jatinangor Knowledge Space will be first built, consisted of a public library, Information Center, and Multifunctional Hall for workshops, seminars, and conferences. Culture: enhancing the presence of local cultural assets, an open amphitheater will be installed to cater various cultural programs. Art & Design: Jatinangor Knowledge Space will be equipped with Design and Art Café as an outlet for the creative industry en_US
