Purpose – The purpose of this research paper is to unravel the determinants of non-customers‟ intention to use Islamic Personal Financial Planner in Jakarta. Some past reviews have examined it, but all in Malaysia as the region. That means, it has not been examined in a diverse setting. Considering this, present review tries to investigate the non-customer‟ intention to use Islamic Personal Financial Planner in Jakarta with following factors: Religion Obligation, Affordability, Knowledge Awareness, and Attitude; on the Intention to Use Islamic Personal Financial Planner.
Design/methodology/approach – Questionnaire with 26 items was distributed to non-customers‟ Islamic Personal Financial Planner in Jakarta. Demographic variables were gender, age, domicile, religion, marital status, and monthly income. Finally, the analysis was performed on 230 respondents. The study used quantitative technique, structural equation modeling (SEM).
Findings – The research found religion obligation, knowledge awareness, affordability, and attitude determinants to be significant in influencing the intention to use Islamic Personal Financial Planner of Non-customers in Jakarta.
Originality/value – Author believes this is the first study, which did research about determinants of Intention towards Islamic Personal Financial Planner in Jakarta with mixing the framework from three latest research papers from Malaysia. |
