Abstract:
Every owner of vehicle or at least a driving capable citizen certainly have experienced the uncomfortable situation where their vehicle broke down. It can happen anywhere, whether it is in a comfortable place like home, or even in the middle of the highway, either way it is very discomforting to experience such scene, and most driver would contact whoever the driver are acquaintance with that might be able to help.
Having a connection that can assist drivers through such situation is indeed helpful, but then comes another variable that might jeopardize that very concept, which is time. Other than the location of the break down, another crucial factor that may hinder a driver from being able to contact a helpful connection to aid them is time. The breakdown of a vehicle can take place anytime, even in the middle of the night where most business-related services have already closed, and the connection that the driver has might already be sleeping.
The system that are proposed to be developed is designed to give the concept of having a helpful connection that can be contacted anytime to every driver that needs assistance, while also maximizing the efficiency of the process with digital enhancement compared to the manual labor. System will help the process of booking a service, sending an SOS order, as well as making payment. The system would also help the workshops to receive orders, maintaining the communication with customer, as well as helping them keep track of the transaction.
