Abstract:
Health is a major need for every human being. Personal health can be obtained by maintaining regular diet and exercise. However, due to the lack of public knowledge about balanced food intake and calorie needs to conduct daily activities, this situation makes them difficult to determine the number of calories in the food and calories needed for their bodies. Currently Smartphone with Android operating system has become a human need. Therefore, to facilitate the community in calculating calorie needs and dietary nutritional intake, this work proposes an Android-based application to help people in their diet program based on sporting activities. The application calculates the ideal body weight, the number of calories that the body needs and provides information about the nutrient content of the food as well as increasing the number of calories burned based on two types of sports activities such as walking and running.
