| dc.description.abstract | has a lot of potential musicians with their own unique and distinctive characteristics. It is proven with their works that have captured the attention and interests of the local music enthusiasts. This success is not just experienced by those who are still working on Indonesia alone since there have been a lot of Indonesian musicians who steal the limelight in a global scale thanks to their capability and musical quality. Wimbar Ichwanto or more famously known as Wims is one of the R&B singers and musicians from Indonesia. In his debut, Wims asked me to join the project by working on the design and visual concept to pack it exclusively. He wants to show different character and image from the majority of R&B musicians and albums these days. Through this album he also wants to emphasize that the image of R&B music does not always speak about love conflict, sex, and materialistic music. This album, aside from being an actualization from the singer himself as a professional artist in Indonesia, also speaks for his idealistic expression as an R&B musician through his music and visual that is packed into a mini album. This is a quite challenging and interesting point for the researcher as a graphic designer and visual conceptor for this album. This is not only as a challenge but instead as a platform to apply the researcher’s knowledge and experiences that have attained during the years as a student of visual communication design. | en_US |
