TO CREATE AND FOCUS ON A PARTICULAR FEELING USING THE LONG TAKE IN STUPOR FILM SCENE 9

Abstract

Today’s film having many editing cuts and combine in them together becomes a challenge itself. In every cuts sometimes the duration per shot only stick out to less than three second, different with the long take which can stand out for several minutes. The long take is an uninterrupted one shot where the long take could construct the dramatization more natural through emphasize of character dominance. This research aims to create and focus on a feeling in a scene but how cinematography efforts to create a particular feeling in scene 9 of “Stupor” film and focus on that feeling? The result is we can create a particular feeling and focus on it also the technique can intensify the emotional impact on a specific plot situation.
