dc.description.abstract Doklam Plateau is an area located between India, Bhutan and China. Those three countries consider Doklam Plateau as their strategic environment that contains their national security interests. This thesis is about India defense policy in maintaining their national security interests in Doklam Plateau. If we are talking about a defense policy, we should also concern about the threat perception and the policy approach in the strategic environment. India as the main actor in this thesis realize the threat perception in the region is China massive military presence and development, which leads to the claiming over one of Doklam Plateau. China aggressive military presence in Doklam Plateau could threatened India sovereignty as well their national security interests in the region. In order to balance China military presence and development in Doklam Plateau region, India believe that they need to increase their border military security management in the region. en_US
