dc.description.abstract The Republic of Korea has run several events to support local designer to enter national and international market and become the country of fashion. One of the popular events is Seoul Fashion Week. The Seoul Fashion Week aims to be able to introduce Korean Fashion as a nation brand of The Republic of Korea. In this regard, European countries such as France and Italy play a significant role in ensuring SFW's success in promoting Korean Fashion. Therefore, there are two factors to the success of the SFW: the government initiative and SDF strategies. The author try to analyze how The Republic of Korea strengthen its nation brand through Seoul Fashion Week by using Nation Branding and Soft Power theories and will be examined by qualitative methods from relevant books, journal and official articles. The research concludes that Seoul Fashion Week had the ability to promote Korean fashion based on the expansion of Korean fashion designers in European countries. en_US
