Abstract:
One component that is expected to be able help in increasing the revenue of The Regional Treasury of Bekasi Regency is the tax collected from street lighting. To know the level of effectiveness, the level of efficiency and the level of contribution of the tax collected from street lighting is the main purpose of this research. The analysis used by researcher here is comparasion ratio analysis to get the percentage of variables related to this research. The percentage resulting from the calculation shows that the level of effectiveness of street lighting tax in Bekasi Regency in 2015-2018 results >100%, which in the criteria means very effective. For the level of efficiency, because there are no costs incurred to be able to collect taxes on street lighting so that street lighting tax collection was very efficient. And the results of the tax collected on street lighting contribute very well in its attainment of target contribution of the regional tax as well as original local government revenue.
