Abstract:
In Indonesia, coffee has been a part of its lifestyle since decades ago. Drinking coffee is considered as a habit, daily activity that cannot be skipped, be it by old or young people, urban or suburban area. Especially in urban area nowadays, ready-to-drink coffee has been developing rapidly due to the increasing demand over the years. Not only does it serve to freshen the body and mind, but also a trend among the people. Therefore, various versions of coffee appear in the market. One of the currently booming versions is milk coffee, or also known as Kopi Susu Kekinian in its Indonesian term. This trend is made to broaden the door to drinking coffee since not everyone is keen on its bitter taste. Because of this, more people now come to enjoy ready-to-drink coffee with lighter taste and the intensity of drinking it also increases. With the concept of grab-and-go, it also makes it easier for people who want to enjoy their coffee outside the shop. Looking at this opportunity, the author wants to make a business of based on this trend named Kopi Ini Saya in Ngagel Jaya Indah, Surabaya with millennials as the targeted market. The business which uses the grab-and-go system wants to emphasize on the connection between the customers and their coffee by providing unique and special product with the customer’s face printed on it. Kopi Ini Saya also uses partnership system with some food delivery service so the customers can order and pay the products online. This will be a good business, therefore, the more information in this business plan is hoped to give clearer insight about the other aspects such as marketing, operation, finance to know the payback period and Net Present Value. The result is that Kopi Ini Saya will reach its payback period in less than one year and NVP at Rp 527,926,382.
