dc.description.abstract Introduced by the beauty of the Malangan Mask Dance, researcher observed that culture should be everlasting. In order to explore this phenomenon, also as the Director of Photography, this research supported by several literatures such as Cultural Heritage and Cinematography Theories which includes composition, lighting, color, and angles. A short film is designed to share the message of cultural heritage. The story for this film research is based on the observation and imagination of the researcher, inspired by the Malangan Mask Dance, since this story is not real or fiction. It is decided that visual metaphor should be used for the messages of the story. This film must have completed by not only theories but combine with the imagination that included in creative element to make the film result more enjoyable and beautiful. en_US
