MINIMIZING WRITER'S BLOCK IN CREATIVE WRITING CASE OF FANFICTION STORY ON WATTPAD

Abstract

As an author, making and creating an interesting story line is not as easy as we read the other authors writing. Sometimes, mood, business, and time can ruined the inspiration while creating a book that has a lot of chapters of story. And when an author facing those kind of situation, they usually called it as the writer’s block. In this research, the researcher wants to know, how Wattpad authors facing their writer’s block issues and to know more about the interaction between the authors and the readers in the form of giving the feedback can help the authors in facing their writer’s block issues. By using Wattpad as the media for this research. Wattpad itself is quiet similar with the other social media, but this application is concern on free writing and reading platform. With a descriptive phenomenology of qualitative method, this study will provide you how feedback from the readers can help the authors in overcoming their writer’s block issues.
