dc.description.abstract Purpose, this research study aims to find that affects entrepreneurs' decision in participating retirement plan and the plan development preference to increase voluntary retirement plan participation. Design Methodology Approach, this research applies qualitative approach through deep interview with three entrepreneurs who business in Cikarang whose age are 35-45 years old and are expected to retire somewhere between 2030-2050. The triangulation is done through finding the general pattern of answer from the three interviewees. finding, this study finds the ultimate confidence in productivity and good health, cultural background, and low financial literacy level are the main reasons for their absence in retirement planning. originality/value, this study is similar to a previous study in Poland by Kazmierska (2015) about driven factors of retirement planning. However, instead of employees, this study focus on non-working class. en_US
