dc.description.abstract Human trafficking or trafficking in persons against migrant workers is a violation of human rights and as a form of transnational crime. Human trafficking becomes contemporary threats where the traffickers have a variety of way to implementing its mission without being detected by government then affect the decision making process and policy of the country. Migration and trafficking are interlinked, as traffickers often exploit the processes by which individuals migrate for economic reasons. Human trafficking often happened since the recruitment process by the agency, Indonesian migrant workers often trapped, deceived and become the victims of human trafficking. Indonesia as the world’s second largest exporter of migrant workers after Philippines. While, Malaysia is the main destination country for Indonesian migrant workers. Various problems trafficking of Indonesian migrant workers still faced especially, in Malaysia. This study analyzes the efforts of Indonesia government to overcome trafficking of Indonesian illegal migrant workers in Malaysia. To answer the research question what were efforts of Indonesia government in overcome trafficking of Indonesian illegal migrant workers in Malaysia? (2011-2014). to support this research, the writer uses realism theory where the state as the actors. The writer also uses the concept of Non-traditional security where human trafficking not only threat national security but also human security and concept of human security where the victims of trafficking need the protection from the state. en_US
