JURIDICAL ANALYSIS OF EUTHANASIA ACCORDING TO INDONESIAN CRIMINAL CODE AND THE DRAFT OF INDONESIAN CRIMINAL CODE

Abstract

This Thesis aims to identify and study Euthanasia bestow to Indonesian Criminal Law and comparison the akin laws and regulations and the Draft of Indonesian Criminal Code (RUU KUHP).Indonesia Criminal Code article 344 regulated about Euthanasia and in RUU KUHP article 588 of the 2015 criminal law. The library research analyzed from many article that used in this case. Indonesia regulated about Euthanasia according to Indonesia Criminal Code and the Draft of Indonesia Criminal Code punished by a maximum isolation of 12 years and shall be sentenced to death or life captivity for a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 20 years.
