Abstract:
In this modern era, using facial recognition technology in a system is commonplace. Because facial recognition technology will greatly simplify some of the processes that occur in the system. This project will be an implementation of facial recognition as part of the attendance system. Facial recognition is the result of a combination of artificial intelligence as well as computers. To overcome the problem of limited resources that usually arise when wanting to implement facial recognition in the stem. By using the appropriate method, this project was made as a separate micro service that can easily connect with other services. This system is divided into two micro services, namely the main micro service to manage registration, deletion, editing, and reading activities from within the database. And the second micro service is a place to run the facial recognition process. In addition, in this system, there is an application as a medium for uploading photos that will be processed in the facial recognition micro service. Then the micro service will update the database to synchronize the data with other micro services that use the same database. This project software is compiled using the Flutter IDE for applications, creating micro services using NodeJS, and making facial recognition using OpenCV.
