Abstract:
Nowadays, logistic business rapidly grows since the technology of e-commerce is increasing. It makes the utilization of warehouse and logistic become one of crucial business. By high demand of online buying, it required the effective system in warehousing so that it does not obstruct the supply chain management. To avoid the bottleneck in sorting line at warehousing system, researcher propose the solution. By making automation sorting in line. The variable in sorting, such as: destination, dimension, and type of goods (fragile or not). This system combines the RFID and Arduino technology. By this propose system, it’s expected can provide the real-time data with approximation perfect accuracy and saving time.
The analysis of this research will use RAD (Rapid Application Development). The step of this method will be system analysis, system design, system implementation and system testing and evaluation. Those variables that will be analyzed in system analysis are overviewing system, functional analysis, software, and hardware requirement, use case diagram and narrative, and swimlane diagram. Then at system design there will be provided the class diagram, entity relationship diagram and UI design. Next phase, system implementation will include hardware assembly, UI development, and application detail. And in last phase, system testing evaluation the result will show testing environment and testing scenario. The conclusion of this research expected increase the sorting process, user-friendly application, and effective cycle time.
