Since the pandemic of Covid-19 spread arround the world, the people try to seeing out indormation and find social media platform that has credible and factual information. This condition happened because of the society that needs more than just infromation but also guidline to find credible platform that giver more than just information but also knowledge and In Seuneubok West Aceh, so much people using social media especially for YouTube. In this research, researcher using as a social media platform and analyzed the strategy of YouTube that can change the opinion and assumption of people of Seuneubok West Aceh. YouTube usage to gain the information about Covid-19 to the public. This qualitative case study research is conducted using the interpretivism paradigm and using in-depth interviews also document as the data. Eventhough YouTube has channels in the web site that provide some information, but still YouTube is a social media platform that used social media strategy to gain di audience and share the information about Covid-19. |
