THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CROWDFUNDING IN FINDING FUNDS FOR SHORT FILM PRODUCTION

Abstract

The writing of this paper discusses the implementation of crowdfunding in raising funds for short film production. The background of this writing is that as independent filmmakers, of course, it is not easy to find sources of funds to finance the production of a film, applying crowdfunding can be a solution for independent filmmakers or film students who want to get funds for the production of a short film because crowdfunding is very effective and can have a tremendous positive impact because we can see a lot of support that comes for our work from many people. Therefore, in this paper, we will discuss the application of Crowfunidng to inspire film students who need funds to make a short film production and to prove that by using crowdfunding, a film student can get a fund for the production of a short film whose results can be seen at this short film, "Membisu".
