Abstract:
PT. Nippisun Indonesia is a plastic seed manufacturing company. The company always prioritizes the quality of the products it makes. The company PT. Nippisun Indonesia, apart from providing warehouses and storage, also provides a sample storage area for storing samples that are checked to be stored for one year if there are customer complaints. The problem occurs in the ineffective and efficient storage of samples to reduce NVA and NNVA activities when retrieving samples. Problems occur in the sample storage area due to irregular area conditions and the absence of adequate procedures to manage samples, causing the sampling process to be long, namely 34.41 minutes. Analysis of problems in Non-Value Added activities uses a Flow Process Chart and most activities occur in Non-Value Added 9 activities. To reduce waste, it is necessary to new storage designs. To design new storage, the QFD method is used. Based on the results of QFD and HOQ, the new design to be made has been formed and has reduced the retrieving time in the sample storage area to 13.12 with a 62% reduction and succeeded in reducing the activity to 2 NVA which is a delay.
