Abstract:
Most companies suffer from difficulties and challenges because of the complexity of projects and from reliance on traditional tools to plan, schedule, and control project development, The need for continuous control of project time, cost and performance can also be completed on time in good quality and within the allocated budget, To reduce project completion time, a technique called "Crush" is performed which involves bringing in additional resources for activities along the critical path of the network. This study proposes a model to determine the order in which activities should be broken and using the CPM technique helps good project management in achieving goals with the minimum time and lowest cost and also in predicting the possible project duration and associated costs to meet the desired project and by using the Crushing Method provides an easier and more appropriate way of solving problems. The total cost of the project under normal conditions is IDR 50,562,314,880 with a project duration of 90 working days. From the results of the analysis in this study, the total cost of the project can be in post-crashing with the alternative of adding four hours of working hours in can amounted to IDR 50,333,741,754 and the duration of the project implementation is 69 working days, while the total cost of the project in post-crashing condition by alternatively implementing a work shift system (morning shift and night shifts) amounted to IDR 49,708,941,705, and the duration of the project 48 days.
