Nowadays, people rarely tells or read Indonesian folklore stories, eventhough folklore are part of a culture in the form of hereditary story, whichare told from generation to generation. Children barely knowwhat kindof
folklore does Indonesia have. As time goes on, folklore could be forgottenif not preserved. An illustration book for children could be the solution for theproblem. This project used qualitative research method. Researchingchildren books will be a part of data collecting, and has three steps of
