dc.description.abstract The aim of this research was to analyse the difficulties of batik artisan recruitment in order to preserve cultural heritage in Trusmi Village Cirebon West Java. This study examines the internal and external recruitment on Batik Tulis in Trusmi Village Cirebon.This study using qualitative research method as the highlights to find the internal and external recruitment that had influence to difficulties on finding batik artisan. This study using the descriptive qualitative analysis as the method, with used three data collection such as observation, interview, and documentation. This method use samples from seven respondents which were the owners of batik tulis business and batik artisans. The finding showed on internal recruitment was a dominant method on finding batik artisans. The external recruitment had lack of used on recruitment method in advertisement and agency, that are had make influence to the difficulties to finding batik artisan in Trusmi Village Cirebon Regency. In the future research, the regeneration of batik artisan are needed to be considered about, because batik is the cultural heritage of Indonesia. en_US
