dc.description.abstract Ergonomics problem does not only affect the industrial life in the plant or working area. There are many other places in everyday life that neglect the existence and importance of ergonomics. Thus low back pain (LBP) often occurs due to the ignorance of correct positioning. In this paper the solution proposed is to create a newly improved product of cloth line in order to reduce the strain experienced in the lumbosacral joint. By observing a population and do a quick survey on the needs in the community, the newly improved cloth line is expected to be able to survive in the market and help improve societies in reducing LBP. The new product is created to eliminate a movement which deemed hazardous to the L5/S1 disc in the lower spine. With the reduction of the movement the compression force suffered in the lower back is reduced by 93.8% from 975 lb to 75lb. en_US
