Abstract:
Due sudden change from face-to-face learning to online learning during COVID-
19, some studies revealed that students’ motivation is important aspect to their
achievement. President University is the of educational institution that implement
online learning due COVID-19. Some studies said that facility and interaction are
the factor of students’ motivation. So, the purpose of this study is to determine how
facility and interaction affect studens’t motivation in online learning during
COVID-19 at President University. 100 respondents who studied at President
University made up the sample for this study. Utilizing a questionnaire to obtain
the data and analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression analysis in SPSSS. This
study uses two variables independent as facility and interaction and 1 variable
dependent as the student motivation in online learning at President University with
3 questions in each variable. As the result, R-square is 0.35 it with the coefficient
regression of facility is 0.444 with positive direction and coefficient regression of
interaction is 0.421 with positive direction, and the significance is 0.000. It is find
that facility and interaction significantly effect students’ motivation in online
learning at President University.
