Abstract:
This research examines the influence of tardiness, absenteeism, and work environment
on employee discipline at the Secretariat General of the Regional Representatives
Council (SEKJEN DPD RI). A quantitative method was applied using multiple linear
regression with data collected from 155 respondents through a structured questionnaire.
The results show that tardiness and absenteeism have a significant positive effect on
employee discipline, while the work environment does not significantly influence it.
However, the simultaneous test indicates that all three variables together significantly
affect discipline, with an adjusted R2 of 0.649. These findings highlight that attendance-
related factors are more decisive than the work environment in shaping employee
discipline within government institutions.
