dc.description.abstract President Senior High School as a boarding school which has motto, “Knowledge is Power, but Character is More, without discipline you wouldn’t know what to do with knowledge. Discipline is the bridge between succesful and life”. The school believes that the students can be succeed by combine from character, discipline and knowledge. It is good combination and added with boarding school, so the school has more time to create character to be discipline and of course to give lesson and knowledge for the students. This research was focused on leadership communication in educational organization (case study of character building of the students) by interaction in communication between principal, teachers, and the students. A qualitative method was used in conductting the research by using in-depth interview with open-ended question. Researcher has interviewed Mr. Suyadi as Principal, My. Yayan as academic teacher and represent for discipline teacher, Mrs. Dwi as counselling teacher, and two students, Surya and Cynthia. The results of the research are the leadership communication is important in the school and with leadership communication between principal, teacher and students will reach the goals of this school. The goals are to build the character for students and give the best knowledge that they can give. The principal through many ways to leading the students. As the research is about leadership too, pricipal tries with situational leadeship. Sometimes, he has to use autocratic leadership, but also he uses persuasive. Principal is supported by teacher. The teacher choose to lead the students by democratic leadership. Even some teacher are not really democratice. In fact, student likes to have group discussion. It makes them feel comfortable in the class. From the reasearch findings, it is suggested for the teacher to have group discussion in the class, but the teacher must involve to that group to help about the difficulties. If the students feel comfort with guiding of the principal and how the teacher teaches in the class, the students will follow the rules with discipline. en_US
