dc.description.abstract The purpose of this research is to analyse Indonesian professional women behaviour in the workplace towards investment decision making, especially related with real options investment. It is to know how women behaviour when the control variable is taken out which are husband and child. That’s why in this research, all of the women are single. This topic is crucial since this research focuses on professional women investment decision making that previously, only few researches that had been done on this area. This research emphasises on 1 (one) main research question, which is: ‘What is the influence of professional women behaviour towards investment decision making?’ In order to answer this research main question, this research concentrations on 3 (three) factors that influence investment decision: (1) investors’ relation; (2) risk attitude; and (3) financial literacy. This research is a qualitative study through structural questioner and following by in deep interview of 10 (ten) professional women in Indonesia as the respondents. The research findings show that Indonesian professional women’ investment decision behaviour is strongly influence by direct family and close friends investment advisor, and most of them are a conservative investor towards risk attitude. Moreover, 80% of Indonesian professional women have lack of financial literacy in term of investment. Therefore, most of Indonesian professional women utilises their intuition to compose an investment decision. Finally, this research concludes that Indonesian professional women behaviour depends more on closeness relationship rather than professional relationship advisory towards investment decision making, since most of them have lack of financial literacy. en_US
