PT.North East Electric Power Construction is an electric power company. As
foreign company from China to Indonesia. There are problems existing in the
company, such as the human resource planning, recruitment problems,
outsourcing problems, remuneration problems and training problems. In order
to find out solutions in terms of these problems, researcher used case study
method through interview. Combined with several theories: The PDCA
theory , Rensis Likert’s participated decision making theory, recruitment
theory, Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of need theory, Federick Herberg’s
motivation-hygiene theory, service outsourcing theory and adult learning
theory to analyze these problems. Researcher used qualitative method to
analyze the case. Researcher interviewed five managers. There are four
managers in the first level. There is one manager in the second level. There are
solutions of the problems through the interview. It is given with the following
results: Managers follow the employee recruitment standards. Managers
choose the right outsourcing companies and provide construction guideline.
Managers make the employees remuneration fair. Managers provide training
to employees and training supports to outsourcing companies. Through the
research, researcher explored the human resource system in PT.NEPC and
related theories and human resource knowledge to make PT.NEPC become
better and make PT.NEPC face the globalization challenge and face the law
risk of contract and technology risk. In the future PT. NEPC could do better
and become competitive. |
