dc.description.abstract In Jakarta, the percentage of working woman has increased from 51,85% (2014) to 58,11 % (2015). As also stated on Indonesia‟s Statistic Central Agency report that the dual-career couples will increase in the future, man and woman will be both working to gain more money, rather than only one spouse working. This study anakyzes on how the dual-career couples could be financially satisfied, eventhough there are so many challenges to live cin a hedonistic lifestyle. Hence, by using mixed-method (quantitative and qualitative) research, this research was conducted to dig deeper on how financial knowledge and financial attitude could affect the dual-career couples‟ financial planning for reaching the state of financial satisfaction. There were 255 respondents for quantitative research, used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method to analyze each variable‟s relationship, and purposive sampling technique for selecting the respondents. For the qualitative research, 5 dual-career couples obtained by in-depth interview, and used methodological triangulation as its method to compare the qualitative result with the quantitative ones. The criterias set by the researcher were white-collar dual-career couple working in Jakarta, Indonesia, with the range of age from 2565 years old, and the range of income between IDR 2,000,000 until above IDR 10,000,000. From the result of quantitative and qualitative research, it can be concluded that financial knowledge and attitude has significant influence towards financial planning, thus affected on financial satisfaction. en_US
