| dc.description.abstract | Title: The Roles of Indonesian Government in Promoting Indonesian Coffee in The United States of America (2014-2016) Indonesia as one of the most vertile country in the world blessed with abundant of natural resources, coffee is one of it. Indonesian coffee has become one of Indonesia’s top export commodity due to its uniqueness and characteristic which distinguish it with other coffee. Indonesia’s biggest trading partner regarding coffee is the United States of America, and Indonesia is United States’ top 3 exporters competing with Brazil and Vietnam. Thus, the government of Indonesia in addition to boosting their coffee export to the United States establsihed some strategies to their internal sector and external sector. In internal sector they estblsihed regulations for Indonesian Sustainable Coffee (ISCoffee), and coffee postharvesting regulations. As for the external sector, they through the Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC), Embassy and Consulate General in the United States doing commercial diplomacy in regards to boosting their coffee export by participating on SCAA Expo 2014, and managed to sealed the deal for one of the biggest auction deal for Indonesia ever done. | en_US |
