Abstract:
Felix Trading Academy is a financial education company. The company have a vision
to help Indonesia reach 10% active investors. Less than 1% of Indonesian are
investors and that is the reason why Indonesian market capitalization is so small
(Indonesian Stocks Exchange, 2017). Apple stocks is still bigger than all companies
listed in Indonesia Stocks Exchange combined. (IDX, 2017)

Felix Trading Academy business model is simple, it is a training business model. Our
field is in financial education especially investment education, not only stock market
but also other financial assets such as foreign exchange, commodities and indices.
To reach this goal, the company plans to use digital marketing as marketing tool to
reach as far and as widest as possible. Number of people in Indonesia using youtube,
facebook, etc. is more than 50 million users (Agne Yasa, 2017). Hence, there is an
opportunity to penetrate financial education market.
Felix Trading Academy is going to create a funnel to capture their interest first by
using Facebook ads and telegram channel then we are going to gather them in a
seminar, then upselling them to a subscription in which they will pay yearly
afterwards. The grand seminar will be held every 3 month worth IDR 8 million/pax
with subscription fee for a year worth IDR 3.5 million/year.
The company main focus in the first one year is to gather as much customer base as
possible, the next two years, the main focus will be in business development and
product development. The next five years, the company will move into fund
Management Company to gather investors fund to trade and charge commissions
based on performance.
Felix Trading Academy (FTA) does not require an office to run in the beginning,
therefore FTA could save a lot of money for just an office. But, FTA requires a
working space when conducting a seminar or event to gather target market.
