Abstract:
Purpose – This research has purpose to analyze the factors that influence Indonesian worker's intention to retire early in Indonesia. In the past few years, there was a review have been examined this research, but only in one of BUMN company. Therefore the researcher tries to analyze the Indonesian workers' intention to retire early in Indonesia. In this research, there are job control, work ability, organizational justice, and reward satisfaction act as independent variables, job satisfaction as mediating variable toward early retirement intention which is dependent variable.
Design/Methodology/Approach – The researcher is using questionnaire that consists of 30 statements. The questionnaire was distributed to Indonesian worker in Indonesia. Respondent profile consists of demographic variables, those are: gender, age, marital status, domicile, status worker and length of work. There were 222 respondents data were gathered. This research is using Quantitative method and SEM (structural equation modeling).
Findings – The research found that organizational justice influnces job satisfaction and reward satisfaction influences early retirement intention among Indonesian workers.
Originality/Value – Author believes that this is the first study about behavioral intention of early retirement among Indonesian workers.
