Abstract:
Purpose
The purpose of this research paper is to find out The Influence of Employee Cross Training during Perilous Condition in Five-Star Hotel Jakarta
Design/Methodology/Approach
As it is quantitative research, this research used questionnaires with 19 statements, seven-scale likert from strongly disegree until strongly agree as the instrument. The questionnaire are adopted from previous research. The questionnaires were distributed online and got 205 respondents who work at five-star hotel and ever cross trained. The range of the validity is 0.411-0.775 and reliability was 0.815-0,909.
Findings
Theoritical framework and hypothesis testing used Simple Regression Analysis. And found that employee cross training toward job performance, employee retention and service quality are significantly influenced each other.
Originality/Value
Since the research of the relationship between employee cross training influences job performance, employee retention and service quality for employee five-star hotel in jakarta have not been conducting before, this study can be used for future research as a reference to increase number of research that has same topic regarding variables above.
