BUSINESS FEASIBILITY STUDY TO BUILD A COMPANY OF SUBCONTRACTOR AND SUPPLIER OF ALUMINUM FRAME

Abstract

Nowadays, many constructions happen in Indonesia. On the other hand, wood supplies are running low. So, many companies in construction services industry, replacing wood materials into aluminum. One sector that replaces wood into aluminum is frame. The large number of enthusiasts for aluminum frames, make the demand for aluminum frames growing up compared to the declining demand for wooden frames. On the other hand, the trend condition of aluminum frame based on export import data from BPS (Badan Pusat Statistik) and local production capacity, shows a trend chart that is always going up from 2012 until 2016. This condition supports PT Dian Centro Sinergi engaged in the construction services industry to add new sector which is subcontractor and supplier of aluminum frame. In addition to the new sector, feasibility study is needed to be a consideration in developing this business. Feasibility Study is an in-depth analysis or research for a business idea that involve many aspects, such as law aspects, technical and technology aspects, marketing aspects, management organizational aspects, and financial aspects, where all of the result is used of whether the business idea is feasible to be implemented, should be postponed, or even not feasible to be implemented. The benefit of a feasibility study is as a picture or imagination of the business to be built and as an example between the plan, its analysis, and its development. Without a feasibility study in establishing a business or developing a business, can have negative consequences such as: the product is not sold, not known the obvious steps in running the business, the company do not develop, bankrupt.
