Abstract:
This research was conducted to determine the level of the financial literacy of the
online ojek driver in East Bekasi, their saving behavior and the effects of their
financial literacy towards their saving behavior.
This is descriptive quantitative research, used survey method and questionnaire.
Respondents are the online ojek driver in East Bekasi. There were 130 drivers for
sampling to be the respondents. Sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The
respondents were chosen by a certain characteristic, such as the use of the
company helmet, the use of the company jacket, and the smartphone on their
motorcycle handlebar. Through the regression analysis, the effect of financial
literacy towards saving behavior is found out.
The results showed that the financial literacy of the online ojek drivers in East
Bekasi is considered to be good, their saving behavior is also good and the
financial literacy of the online ojek driver affects their saving behavior.
