dc.description.abstract This study aims to examine Hungary's response to the refugee relocation policy implemented by the European Union parliament and how the response from Hungary affects diplomatic relations between the two international actors. This research uses descriptive qualitative method by analyzing social events. International Relations Theory is also used. The data is obtained from the official websites of government bodies such as the European Union and the Hungarian government. Several other credible sources were also used in this research, such as from non-governmental organizations and trusted news sites. The results of this research found that the Hungarian government rejected any solution that required them to accept refugees into their country. Hungary's response was not well received by the European Union as the European Union Parliament made a claim under article 7 of the EU Functions agreement. As a result, Hungary's rights as a member of the European Union can be temporarily or permanently revoked. en_US
