dc.description.abstract To bringing back the maritime power with Global Maritime Fulcrum, Indonesia exercise maritime diplomacy. Piracy and sea robbery in Malacca Strait has been an issue to tackle by littoral states in security dimension. Malacca Strait Patrol was implemented to counter piracy strategy. To enhance the cooperation, Indonesia as one of the country in disadvantage responded by execute maritime diplomacy with other littoral states in Malacca Strait. This research employs qualitative method using journals, books, report, and official documents to analyse the implementation of Indonesia’s maritime diplomacy in tackling piracy and sea robbery in Malacca Strait through coordinated sea patrol during Jokowi Administration era from 2014-2019. This thesis will further elaborate the result of implementation of cooperative maritime diplomacy through security cooperation by Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. en_US
