Abstract:
Floriography or flower language is a form of cryptological non-verbal communication using flower as the media that was once
very popular hundred years ago almost universally but the new generation especially in Indonesia are probably not familiar
with this term. The purpose of this research is to reintroduce floriography to the new generation as educational media
through illustration book, with qualitative research method and interview result with an experienced interviewee as the
guide. By this research, the illustration book titled as Flospedia will be expected to make people interested to learn about
floriography as educational media.
